Thanks for the feedback! I’ve gotten several questions about that formula, and I think the code is correct. Notice that the phase is applied at position 2i (+1), which offsets that favor of two in the exponent.

It’s possible that I’m missing something, so please correct me if I’m wrong! I’ll add a note to clarify this in the future.
